The park is named after the Tarangire River, the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. Known for its large elephant families, you may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and a variety of predators, including lions and leopards. Tarangire is home to more breeding bird species than anywhere else on Earth.
The park is also famous for its ancient Baobab trees, some of which are over a thousand years old. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot inside the park before continuing your game drive. Afterward, you'll head to your Lodge for overnight stay.
