The Great 18-Day Safari to Tanzania (Northern and Southern)

At this day you will be driven to Arusha Park for game drive with packed lunch boxes from the lodge. The park is at the base of Mount Meru, which is good for climbing. It has a range of habitats including forest, home to the black and white colobus monkey and is excellent for birding. Several lakes often host flocks of flamingo. The park's appeal is mainly its scenery. The habitat diversity spans from montane (mountain) rain forest to moist savannah to alpine moorland. Later you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

In the morning you will be picked from your lodge with packed lunch boxes and dive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. Tarangire Park is famed for its largest herd of Elephant and the giant’s baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. This park also is a home of big cats where you might see your first cats like Lion, Leopard and Cheetah.

After breakfast, you will drive to the crater (rim) edge of Ngorongoro to Serengeti national park, via Ngorongoro conservation area with the best view of Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti plains then drive to Serengeti National park for evening game drive, Serengeti which is Biosphere reserve and our World heritage site.  The Serengeti is home of big wildebeest migration and big cats as you’re enjoying sun downer while singing wildebeest.

Early after breakfast, you will drive for a full day game drive in the park with packed lunch boxes and feel in the midst of a National Geographic movie. The Serengeti is famed for annual wildebeest migration where you might see millions of wildebeest. You will cross a variety of habitats grassland and woodland that leads to a number of different animals such as hippos, Elephants and the big cats, The Seronera valley is the best place for Lions sighting in Africa, The area also offers great sightings of leopards, cheetah, elephant, hippos, and a variety of antelopes. After gaming you will turn back to your lodge.

After having breakfast at your lodge, then you leave with a packed lunch from us and spend the whole day in the endless plains of the Serengeti. If you're visiting the Serengeti at the right time, you’ll see herds of wildebeest and zebra stretching to the horizon and you may be lucky enough to see the dramatic river crossings. You can also enjoy bush walks in the Serengeti led by local Maasai warriors, providing an authentic walking safari experience.

Early morning drive after Breakfast drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro with packed lunch, Ngorongoro is a unique conserved area in Tanzania as Maasai cattle and wild animals can graze together. You will spend your morning hours down in the crater where you may have the opportunity to see a very rare unique animal that lives only in very few places in Tanzania.

After Breakfast in the lodge you will drive to Lake Manyara Park with your packed lunch. The Lake is known for its beautiful swarmer’s of water-furniture, Flamingos. This park is unique for its tree climbing lions, you may have luck to see lions lie on tree branches and also to see other animals. You can stop on a Maasai Boma at Manyara area to see the local life of the most famous tribe of the northern part of Tanzania.

On this day you will drive from your lodge to Moshi town for a tour via Arusha city, on the way you will enjoy the Beautiful view of Arusha to Moshi town. Moshi is home for several tourism activities, where you will hike up to Materuni waterfalls through materuni village,

Early after breakfast our driver guide will pick you from Moshi to Usambara with a packed lunch about four hours from Moshi for the afternoon tour. Usambara is a beautiful mountain range with grassy plains and virgin tropical rainforest with Usambara orchids Moss plant with forest birds and some few antelopes. The lush green mountains have a cool climate that is ideal for walks and hikes. But one of the best reasons to hike the Usambara Mountains is the amazing view. You will see sweeping hills, mountains, valleys, farmland, villages, colorful markets and plantations everywhere around Usambara Mountains.

Today you can walk up to Irete viewpoint to get a good view of mazinde village, walk through the fertile farmlands of Jaegertal(forest) to a fruit tree nursery and learn more about the different types of fruit trees and their propagation.

Early in the morning after breakfast our guide will pick you from the lodge with packed lunch to usambara eastern part in Magoroto forest.  Magoroto forest is situated in the Eastern Usambara Mountains. With its scenic freshwater lake and tropical rain forest, it is the perfect spot for a getaway. The estate offers stunning views from the Muheza Valley to the Indian Ocean. Enjoy the lush rain forest with rare plant and bird species; explore the dense tropical forest with coffee plantation and organic spices like cenamon, cadamon you and you will be walking around forest with big trees.

After breakfast you will drive to Amboni caves via Tanga Town, a knowledgeable hot cave guide will take you to walk in caves. You will hear through explanations on the stalactite and stalagmite formation of the caves. After an hour touring the caves, I drove back to Tanga for lunch. Then after lunch drive further down to the historical Pangani Coast.

After Breakfast, start a day with a Boat excursion to Maziwe Island for beach relaxation, Snorkeling and swimming in a beautiful turquoise with white sand.  Lunch will be served at the Island.

A day set to relax and enjoy the clean, chilled beaches of Ushongo. With activities based on your interest. From day trips to islands in the ocean formed by the effects of low tide. Fishing experiences and Scrubber diving. Walking experiences in Ushongo villages where much urban development has yet exploited the area. Lunch will be served at the beach of Ushongo.

Early in the Morning after breakfast you will be driven to Morogoro for an evening tour walking around Morogoro town while enjoying sundowner in Uluguru Mountain where you will have lunch at Mbuyuni farm Retreat, the next adventure awaits you!delightfull dinner and overnight.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked-up from your camp and driven to Nyerere National Park. There is a picnic lunch on the way. You will arrive there in the evening to embark on a boat safari. On your boat trip, you’ll spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat

On this day after breakfast till evening, you will have a full game drive tour at Nyerere National Park formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. You will get to enjoy various tourist attractions like wild animals including elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and many more. Also, you will see birds and other landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of mountains.

Today, Early after breakfast will be picked up from the lodge and transferred to Dar es Salaam for departure at J.F.K International airport. This will be the end of starting a new safari.
