Overview

This 2-day safari gives you a chance to witness Big Five animals and other interesting animals. You will be immersed in the unspoiled nature of real Africa. You will see wild animals up close and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania. All this with the assistance of Win Tanzania Safaris. Enjoy full board on safari, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of the jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, binoculars) and selected accommodations.

Tour Plan

Arrival Day: Arrive in Arusha

Upon arrival into Arusha Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to a designated hotel or lodge where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of either Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru as you prepare for your trip.

Day 01: Pick up From Arusha to Tarangire Park

Early Morning you will be picked up from your hotel/Lodge in Arusha and depart to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra.

Day 02: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

On this wonderful day, you will be having early breakfast from the lodge and you will make an early descent into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. Ngorongoro is a unique conserved area in Tanzania as Maasai cattle and wild animal can graze together, the hours of game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater.

Drop off: After gaming you will check out from your lodge and drive back to Arusha for departure, where there will be lots of memories to draw also on the way.
